They undergo a 172-point inspection and come with a 12-month or 12,000-mile limited warranty, whichever comes first.2 Gold Certified used vehicles' complementary roadside assistance coverage lasts for seven years1 and is supplemented by a 12-month/12,000 mile Comprehensive Limited Warranty2 and a seven-year or 100,000-mile Limited Powertrain Warranty.2
The last category of Ford Blue Advantage certified cars is EV Certified models. This is a program that specifically covers electric vehicles (EVs), such as the Ford Mustang Mach-E and the Ford F-150 Lightning. These automobiles are subject to a 127-point inspection (the lowest number of the three programs because EVs have fewer moving parts than traditional cars) and come with a 12-month or 12,000-mile Limited Warranty2 and eight years of complementary road assistance coverage.1
